FGM/C is child abuse and contravenes the UN Convention on the rights of the child; it is also a global problem affecting 100 - 140 million women worldwide.
Due to migration many women living in the UK and especially large cities such as Manchester are affected. Those women living with FGM/C experience many physical, psychological, social and relationship challenges and this study aims to gather information to help clarify how local NHS services can help.
