The Faculty of Humanities is providing a half day training workshop on Tuesday, 24 March as part of the ongoing development of the Research Communications and Marketing Network. The aim is to support Academic and PSS colleagues in obtaining an understanding of the Effective Use of Social Media for Disseminating Research.
This interactive session will focus on how you might use social media to support core activity related to research communications, reputation and impact; align social media channels and content to objectives and audiences; and find and connect with target audiences.
Following brief introductions and presentations from Lynda McIntosh (Research Communications and Marketing Manager, Faculty of Humanities) and Jonathan Keighren (Social Media and Emergency Communications Manager, Division of Communications and Marketing) the session will be facilitated by digital content strategist and education trends expert Tracy Playle from Pickle Jar Communications.
Staff looking to improve research communications and marketing will be welcome to attend. Hand-outs and presentations will be available to download via the Humanities Intranet (HumNet) following the event.
