John Lyons: Carnivalesque
The first major retrospective exhibition of Trinidadian British artist and poet John Lyons, spans 60 years of painting, including drawings, prints, poetry, and sketchbooks.
Ayo Akingbade: Show Me The World Mister
A solo exhibition comprising two new film commissions shot on location in Nigeria, building upon Akingbade’s continued interest in history, place-making, legacy and power.
Shirley Craven
An exhibition of vivid, colour-filled textiles by post-war designer Shirley Craven from the Whitworth’s collection.
Everyday Art School
A dynamic new project space that brings together collections, ideas and community action to bring art into your everyday life and rethink how we use it.
