Natural Capital Workshop | University of Manchester | Tuesday 22nd July 2025

University of Manchester
Tuesday 22nd July 2025
10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Greater Manchester has led the way in trialling natural capital approaches since its designation as an ‘urban pioneer’. This workshop invites you to critically reflect on how natural capital accounting has been variously understood, applied, and experienced across the region — and what they mean for the future of environmental governance.
We recognise that participants bring diverse — and at times conflicting — values and visions for environmental governance. This workshop isn’t about consensus, but open dialogue: a space to explore the tensions, perspectives, and possibilities that shape natural capital in practice.
To participate in this workshop you must be a professional working in the policy, planning, research, conservation, and the environment sector.
