Pod Collective’s newspaper project is in response to the fifteenth anniversary of the dispersal programme in 2015.
People who have sought asylum in the UK have been dispersed throughout the country often away from community and connections, leaving people at risk of social and cultural isolation.
The project has allowed women to tell their story in the newspaper which has been produced raising awareness of their struggles and celebrating women who have flourished despite these difficulties. Join us in the Library to pick up your copy of the newspaper, you can read it in the beautiful Historic Reading Room!
