Sat 2 Oct / 11am-4pm: Postcards from Manchester
Acclaimed poets Mandy Coe & John Siddique will be on hand in the Museum to help you write a poetry postcard, capturing your unique impressions of the sights, sounds and smells of the city.

Sat 2 & Sun 3 Oct / 11am-4pm: Manchester elephant
Discover the story of the Museum's elephant, called Maharajah, and his 200 mile walk from Edinburgh to Belle Vue Zoo. Make your own elephant hat to take away with you.

Sat 2 Oct / 1-4pm: Reflective Room
Meet the designers of Reflective Room, the temporary structure in the Museum's Courtyard, in an afternoon of activities. Reflective Room has been designed by the Prototype Unit and built by 5th year Architecture students from the Manchester School of Architecture (msa).
