Writers will be travelling to Manchester from as far afield as North Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the United States to take part in our third festival, organised in association with CityLife.co.uk. We'll also be showcasing plenty of local talent at our Festival Hub. With events ranging from Past Crimes to A Place for Romance and literature in translation to children’s fiction, the programme caters for all literary tastes. And, as part of our Big Science Read Weekend, we will be hosting a series of readings, debates and workshops exploring the interplay between literature and science
