Wigan Council is a key partner on an ambitious Heritage Lottery Fund project to restore the landscape between Wigan, Manchester and Warrington (the Carbon Landscape Project see- https://www.hlf.org.uk/about-us/news-features/north-west-industrial-landscape-be-restored).

You are invited to a workshop on July 13, 10-12, run by The University of Manchester (also a partner) to share ideas about how we can work together to restore and enhance the local landscape for the benefit of people, communities and the local economy.

We would like to involve as wide a cross section from the Council as possible. All are welcome: people from different sectors & levels, elected officers as well as project officers. Please see the attached invite for more info.

Numbers are limited, to book click here: https://ketso.wufoo.eu/forms/taking-a-roundview-of-the-carbon-landscape/
