The Faculty is hosting its second annual Environmental Sustainability (ES) Showcase on 10th June for staff and students.
Environmental Sustainability (ES) is a central part of the Faculty’s Social Responsibility Plan with our main aim to embed ES at the heart of our operations, activities, and values through contributing to the University’s ES strategy: Our Sustainable Future.
The showcase will be hosted by Dr. Maggy Fostier, Associate Dean for Environmental Sustainability, FBMH, and we will be joined by guest speaker Martin Farley, creator of LEAF (Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework) and now Associate Director Environment and Sustainability, UKRI (UK Research and Innovation). Martin will discuss ‘Sustainability in Research Moving Forward’.
The showcase will also present examples of the ES work carried out in 2023/24 and together we will celebrate with fun competitions and activities aimed at both lab and non-lab participants.
