Hosted online by Jack (Exhibitions and Public Engagement with Research and Assistant) and MT (Reader Services Assistant), this online event will guide you through some of our LGBTQ+ collections, from the punk scene of 1970s London to the world of community theatre in the early twentieth century. The event continues the legacy of the We Have Always Been Here exhibition, by giving the opportunity for the lesser-known queer voices in our collections to shout above the rest.
For this online event you can join the livestream free via our YouTube channel at 2pm on Friday 9th August, no need to book. It will last approximately 20 minutes. If you are unable to attend, not to worry, a recording will be made available on our channel shortly afterwards.
