Professor Nigel Scrutton, Dr Julia Handl, and Erin Baggely talk about their experiences of interdisciplinary working.
This workshop will explore the challenges and benefits of becoming part of an interdisciplinary team. It will feature presentations from three researchers at various stages of their careers who have embraced interdisciplinary research. From personal experience the speakers will discuss the career choices that led them to pursue research at discipline boundaries, how they interact with professionals in other disciplines, and what they have learnt from their experiences. There will be plenty of time in the session for questions from the audience.
