Saturday 21st August, 9.00pm to Midnight, gates open 8.45pm. An opportunity to view the moon and other nightsky objects through optical telescopes in all their glory. Our new 14-inch optical telescope will be on hand to show visitors the night sky, as well as telescopes accompanied by members of local Astronomical Societies, weather permitting. We'll also have samples of moon rock and soil brought back to Earth by NASA's Apollo astronauts, on loan from STFC. Talks, 3D theatre presentation, BBQ and hot drink included in the ticket price. Admission by ticket only.
