John Casken’s new string quintet pits the lower three instruments against the upper two, while Schubert achieves heavenly length and harmony. In between, hear Haydn in an outlandish key. The Danels are joined by RNCM’s Head of Chamber Music, Petr Prause, cellist in the renowned Talich Quartet.
