The International Collaborative for Translational Digital Health (ICDTH) is a collaboration between Universities of Manchester, Melbourne and Toronto. The mission of the ICDTH is to advance the field of Digital Health in the three countries and globally through the development, implementation, and translation of new technologies, policies, and service delivery models. The Health Services Research and Implementation Hub is one of four Hubs within the collaborative. Its focus is on all things related to implementation of digital technologies and techniques, spanning the innovation life-cycle—how to design useable technologies with its target audience, implement technologies in practice, and support adoption and scale-up. Our objective is to provide a channel to exchange expertise, knowledge, and technologies across the three universities and their health care systems.
We are holding a transcontinental launch event for the Health Services Research and Implementation Hub. The purpose is to highlight the direction for this work and to identify priorities and areas of interest. Half of the session will focus on organisational readiness for technology. The other half will feature our guest scholar, Dr Christoph Golz (Bern University of Applied Sciences) , who will present on his research on organisational readiness for artificial intelligence (AI).
This launch event will be held online on Wednesday 29th January at 2PM. We hope to bring people together from a broad range of disciplinary backgrounds, who have a range of interests around technology, health services and implementation.
