Spring Studio - Family Easter activities at the Whitworth (Monday to Saturday during the Easter school holidays)
Discover, play and make together with your family this Easter holiday. As winter comes to a close and greenery once again takes hold, take the lead from artist Nico Vascellari to create works inspired by art and nature. Join artists from local group Creative Hands and have a go at making your own instruments inspired by Vascellari’s magical work. Make tree sculptures together with your family that will live and grow in our park!
On Saturdays during the school holiday we'll also be joined by Billy and Andy's Manchester Music school, 11am-3pm. Find Billy and Andy just next door to Nico Vascellari's atmospheric installation and have a go at creating sounds inspired by your visit.
Our Spring Studio is running Monday - Saturday from 2nd - 16th April. Our activities are free, drop-in and designed for all ages.
