Join us in celebrating World IP Day with our upcoming webinar, 'Copyright, Authorship and Generative AI', in which we'll be exploring the challenges for the copyright system and protection of AI-generated output.
During this session, we will reflect on the following:
Can AI-generated works qualify for protection, and what degree of human involvement is necessary for copyright to subsist?
Are detailed user ‘prompts’ enough?
Do the benefits of protecting machine-generated output outweigh the costs?
Should these works automatically enter the public domain, or do we need new sui generis rights?
This session will be joined by Dr Plamen Dinev and Dr Joseph Lee Nazzini.
