Join Professor Jeremy Gilbert, author of Common Ground: Democracy and Collectivity in an Age of Individualism, for a public lecture exploring the cultural consequences of financial control. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion with Dr David Alderson (English, University of Manchester) and Dr Philipp Roessner (History, University of Manchester) on the relationship between society and the arts during times of economic and financial crisis. Carry on the conversation over a drinks reception.
