The University of Manchester Library's Special Collections span five millennia, they form an astonishingly rich resource of rare books, pamphlets, manuscripts, maps, archives, oral history, art works and objects.
There are unique opportunities to enhance undergraduate and graduate level teaching and learning at the University of Manchester, using the diverse range of physical and digital resources. Our Special Collections staff are on hand to provide bespoke advice on embedding Special Collections content.
This online event is a chance to connect with curators and Library specialists to explore current innovative teaching practice. There will be introductions to the University’s digital collections, widening participation and equality, diversity and inclusion. It will also feature speakers and case studies from tutors across the University, who will be sharing their experiences of using the collections for teaching and learning.
This event is targeted at University of Manchester staff.
