Digital Health Series: IP for Digital Health technologies - Part 2
The Digital Health Series is targeted at the multi-disciplinary Digital Health sector including clinicians, researchers, and scientists with a wide range of expertise in healthcare, engineering, social sciences, public health, health economics and data management.
Part 2 of the Digital Health series is an in-person networking event on Tuesday 30th November. We will hear from SME’s that have taken their digital health innovations to market in Greater Manchester and beyond.
We will also have a workshop-style group discussion of commercialisation strategies, including an examination of intellectual property (IP) considerations such as trade secrets, the use of open-source software, potential ownership disputes with employees and contractors, and IP licences. Our panellists facilitating the workshop will include experts with clinical, computer software, research, IP and medical device regulation specialisms.
