Please save the date for the third annual FBMH: The Future of Teaching and Learning Symposium, which will take place on Tuesday 15 December 2026.
The symposium is open to academic staff, Professional Services colleagues, and students at all levels of study from across FBMH and provides an opportunity to share innovative practice, explore new ideas in education, and connect with colleagues who support teaching and learning in a variety of ways.
Last year’s event brought together over 100 colleagues from across all three schools within FBMH, and showcased the extraordinary work in teaching and scholarship happening across the faculty.
Colleagues who attended last year’s event shared very positive feedback:
• 97% of attendees rated their experience of the symposium as good or excellent
• 100% of attendees rated the event as relevant to their teaching or support roles
• 100% of attendees said they would be interested in attending the next symposia.
Later this semester, we will issue a call for speakers, workshop hosts, and presenters. There will also be another poster prize competition, offering colleagues and student partners the opportunity to showcase innovative projects and initiatives supporting teaching and learning
