The talk will show you how to find your way around the sky using smart phones, tablet computers and laptops along with planispheres, magazines and websites.
You will be shown how to find out where and when planets and other celestial objects are visible and how best to observe them with your eyes, binoculars and beginner’s telescopes.
Following the 50 minute talk there will be a 30 minute question and answer session to address your particular queries about binoculars, telescopes and observing and then, if clear, we will do some observing.
Please bring binoculars or telescopes if you have one.
