The Insight to Law day will give Y10 learners an overview of Law and the degree courses available, a tour of our School of Law and two interactive workshops focusing on core aspects of the study of Law. This is an excellent opportunity to get advice from the School of Law on potential AS/A2 subjects and preparation that will prove useful in applying to study Law. The interactive workshops will provide a stimulating, hands-on experience, which also supports learners in developing skills that will be useful in post-16 education and beyond, including: teambuilding, problem solving and presentation skills. Learners are encouraged and supported by current students from the University who provide a positive role model for the learners.
