We’re delighted to be running our popular Astrophotography Nights again at Jodrell Bank this winter.
The evening will be an informal and fun session including an Introduction to Astrophotography workshop (co-presented by Dr. Ant Holloway Jodrell Bank's own in-house staff), along with a chance for you to try out your equipment, talk to our knowledgeable team, and meet like-minded people.
You’ll learn how to use your DSLR or Compact System Camera to get started in Astrophotography, and discover how you can use simple equipment such as a tripod, to capture different images of the night sky, from planets and constellations to the colours of stars and star trails. You’ll also be able to look at additional equipment you can use to expand the range of images you make.
No previous knowledge required. Wear a warm coat and bring a flask!
Booking essential. Tickets are just £22.00 (£20 concessions).
