Handle original historic pots and see how ancient civilisations used and decorated these everyday items. Delve into the Museum's previously unseen collection of pottery from the pre-historic mound at Yanik Tepe and archaeological sites in Cyprus. Take a closer look at obsidian pot shards under torch-light and see the colours and patterns in them. Use potatoes to create your own pot design, inspired by this ancient pottery. Drop-in, all ages

Price: free (except smashing pots which is £1 per pot)
