Come to Jodrell Bank and walk on the Moon
On 4th February 1966 Jodrell Bank produced the first ever pictures of the surface of the moon, intercepting a signal from the Soviet Luna 9 spacecraft and printing the image on a borrowed fax machine.
Join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this momentous development, walk on the moon, make a lunar landing craft and mark the site of historic moon landings.
11am-4pm - closed for lunch 1pm-2pm.
