Blackwell’s Bookshop is excited to host the Manchester launch of John McAuliffe’s sixth poetry collection, National Theatre. John will discuss his work in conversation with writer and lecturer Lucy Burns.
Doors open at 6:30 pm, with the event starting at 6:45 pm. Tickets are available from £4.
About the Author: John McAuliffe’s Selected Poems (2022) was named a Book of the Year by The Irish Times and The Guardian. His previous collections have received the Michael Hartnett Award and Poetry Book Society Recommendations. He is Professor of Poetry at The University of Manchester, where he has taught creative writing for two decades, and serves as Associate Publisher at Carcanet Press.
Lucy Burns, a Senior Lecturer in Prose at Liverpool John Moores University, published her first book, Larger than an Orange, in 2021.
