Applied teaching and learning addresses the increasing pressure to enhance the student experience and improve the skills and employability of our students, with the need to demonstrate our relevance and worth to wider society through research impact and engagement activities.
The activities also demonstrate the University’s commitment to social responsibility through direct engagement with local/regional non-academic organisations in the private, public, and third sectors.
This workshop run in partnership with Andy Karvonen, Co-director of cities@manchester, will bring together key individuals from the University involved in the delivery of applied teaching and learning. It will showcase some exemplars from across the University and provide a forum for discussing how we can make this agenda more prominent.
This event is open to University of Manchester staff only, it is free to attend but please register your place via Eventbrite:
