Supporting Inclusivity - ONLINE
On the BSc (Hons) Speech and Language therapy programme we have a well structured academic advisory system at the heart of student support. All students discuss reasonable adjustments proposed through Occupational Health/DASS for their academic progression through the programme. For practice placements it is vital to meet with students to listen to them and understand what they think might help them on placement. To give them choices and help them understand the requirements of a placement setting. To write a bespoke plan with reasonable adjustments that can be shared with Practice Educators so that students may achieve their potential within that setting.
This session will be held online by Rachel Starkey and Katherine Twomey with joining details to be emailed the day of the event.
