Wednesday 5 June, 2.45pm-4.45pm, for 5 weeks. The Middle East provides us with the earliest evidence of our founding civilisations. We will look at how environmental changes and natural resources have played a strong part in shaping civilisation and at intriguing evidence from archaeological excavations, from Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Israel. With tutor Maggy Simms.
