Join our EDI Sandbox to explore how to design research bids that champion equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Funders are placing increasing importance on equity, diversity and inclusivity (EDI) in their assessment of research bids, looking to see if researchers demonstrate a commitment to supporting a diverse and inclusive research culture in their applications. A sandbox environment is a space where people from different disciplinary backgrounds are brought together to discuss solutions to complex problems in a controlled, risk-free and safe environment. During this sandbox, you will be guided through activities that help you design a research bid – from the conception of ideas to the delivery of impact and outputs – that upholds, promotes and champions principles of EDI.
This Sandbox is an internal staff only and is open to all applicants who are currently developing major research bids. Sandbox participants will be required to bring a completed Expressions of Interest (EoI) or 1-page project description along to the Sandbox to support their participation.
