Join us at the John Rylands Research Institute and Library to explore the World Refugee Collection with Flora Chatt, archivist of the Humanitarian Archive.

This free event presents items from the Humanitarian Archive for the first time, offering a chance to view newly catalogued material from the collection.

Drop into the beautiful Historic Reading Room to see ephemera, memorabilia and correspondence related to World Refugee Year 1959-60. Coinciding with Refugee Week, these items provide an insight into how the public engaged with the UN-backed international campaign to raise awareness and funds for the refugee crisis.
