Students from the Global Development Institute and the School of Arts Language and Culture are hosting a new series of events called Development Meets.
They're starting this regular series of forums by exploring what happen when Development Meets...Theatre!
We will be showing a film of Queens of Syria - an adaptation of Trojan Women made in collaboration with a cast Syrian refugee women. This is followed by a documentary of the process leading up to the performance. We will be joined by some of the team behind the project - including a cast member who will reflect on her participation in the project.
