Following our work on EDI in promotions, and in combination with work on reducing inequities in opportunities for women and minoritised staff in SEED, we are planning a meeting open to women who are Senior Lecturers and have been at the same grade for the past 5 years (or women at Reader for the past 2 years), to discuss applying for promotion to Professor.
We will be joined by Professor Nicola Banks and Professor Lisa Murtagh who will share their experiences, both of applying to professor (on the T/R and T/S tracks) and of sitting on the School Promotions Committee. We hope to encourage, share advice and experiences.
