In this lunchtime talk, historian Kerry Pimblott and Maya Sharma (Collections and Engagement Officer at the AIU RACE Centre) will discuss how interested teachers, students, and community members can engage Manchester’s Digital Collections (MDC) as well as other local archives to learn more about the history and formation of early African diaspora communities in Manchester during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
