Writing can be fun, extremely useful for self-development, and a shared experience as well as a means of self-expression.
Yet, many of us grow up seeing writing as something bound by rules and regulations, that's only associated with education or work.
Claire Pearce, from CPs Day Off, will be leading this workshop for participants to discover the joy in writing, and demonstrate writing as a tool for self-discovery, awareness and reflection. It will encourage attendees to overcome challenges in academic writing by enabling free flow of writing and self-expression, in a safe space.
Participants often report feeling more confident, connected and inspired after writing this way. They also feel that their writing improves by writing in this free way.
Benefits:
Improve overall writing
Creative ideas
Connection:
Gain perspective
Self-reflection
Stress relief
Please note: Spaces are limited, and are currently only open to SALC students and staff
