This year marks 150 years of the Wood Street Mission, a charity that since its beginnings in 1869 has collected together and distributed Christmas gifts to local children of Manchester.
If you wish to donate to this worthy cause, and offer some Christmas cheer to children and families in need, we are now accepting new toys, books and other giftable items for children aged between 0-14 years old.
You can drop off donations at the museum shop, or alternatively if you wish to purchase a recommended gift item to donate, we will offer you a 10% discount on your entire purchase.
Wood Street Mission asks that gifts are unwrapped so parents and carers can choose the most appropriate gifts for their child. You can donate wrapping paper separately.
