This is a special year for the Sun and to celebrate the Solar Maximum (increased solar activity in an 11 year cycle) we have a fun filled week of interactive shows!
Come and take part in our Summer Spectacular Sun Science Show (try saying that three times!) and find out about the lifecycle of a star, what the Sun is made from and the unusual effects the Sun has on life on Earth.
If the Sun is shining brightly, you will also get to look through our solar viewers and study the Sun’s surface. (Remember! Never look directly at the sun)
