Objects and Remembering is a one-day interdisciplinary conference taking place at the University of Manchester on Friday 20 June 2014.
It will provide a platform for historians, anthropologists, archaeologists, and researchers from neighbouring disciplines to come together and discuss the vast range of potential approaches to objects and their capacity to contain, evoke and shape memories.
At the end of the day there will be an opportunity for reflection, with a panel session hosted by our keynote speakers: Dr Gabriel Moshenska, Institute of Archaeology, University College London and Dr Layla Renshaw, Kingston University London.
