Come along to Jodrell Bank for a day of willow coppicing in the gardens as part of our brand new garden volunteering scheme!
Starting from Wednesday 29th March, our new Garden Volunteer Days take place on the last Wednesday of every month from 11am – 3pm. Each month we’ll work on a different task related to various aspects of gardening. You’ll meet new people and gain useful skills in horticulture and biodiversity, such as woodland management, habitat creation or wildlife surveys. There’ll be time for a lunch break and tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided.
The opportunity supports Cheshire East’s Give 5 volunteering scheme and is part of our Heritage project First Light at Jodrell Bank.
You will need to e-mail jodrell.visitor.centre@manchester.ac.uk to register your interest in advance.
