AstraZeneca (AZ) have recently launched their Open Innovation Portal. This exciting initiative allows you to submit online proposals across a range of drug discovery and development activities to facilitate access to the AZ Clinical Compound Bank and Pharmacology Toolbox.
You are invited to a workshop hosted by Dr Madeleine Brady (Director Scientific Partnering and Alliances) and Dr Clare Murray (Open Innovation Program Manager, AstraZeneca). Join us to:
• Learn how Open Innovation can support your research activity
• Get advice on building successful proposals
• Discuss your ideas with Open Innovation experts
The event will start with a presentation, followed by Q&A and opportunity for networking over lunch. Should you wish to discuss an idea in more detail, 1-to-1 meetings with Dr Clare Murray and Dr Madeleine Brady are available from 13.00 to 15.00 in G.222 (just opposite the training room). Please contact Naomi Sells (0161 306 0554 / naomi.sells@manchester.ac.uk to book one of these meetings.
You are encouraged to explore the Open Innovation Portal in advance of the workshop so that you consider potential applications. Please visit: openinnovation.astrazeneca.com
I hope to see many of you at what promises to be an informative session. Please confirm your attendance by email to naomi.sells@manchester.ac.uk
