As leadership, however that is understood, continues to have a high prominence within the Medical Profession, we consider recent developments in regulation and education, including evaluation of leadership programmes for hospital based trainees in Manchester and Birmingham.
Iain specialises in teaching, consultancy and research around management and leadership development in the NHS; service evaluation and improvement; clinical engagement in management and regulation of health care. He is a tutor on the NHS Leadership Academy’s Elizabeth Garrett Anderson programme. He is particularly interested in the effect of individuals’ development on their performance at work.
