The Discover Computer Science Day is designed for students who have a keen interest in studying Computer Science at degree level.
This day will allow participants to get a unique insight into studying Computer Science at the University of Manchester. You will have the opportunity to meet academic staff and current students, and to ask any questions relating to our degree courses. The programme will include an introductory lecture, a talk and workshop on Virtual Reality, a tour of our School and a “Tech Fair” where you will be able to explore student project work. This would be a fantastic experience to add to personal statements if you are thinking of applying to study Computer Science at university.
