Let's Talk About... Health Inequalities in the signing deaf community Join us for a new collaborative research seminar organised between the Cancer Research UK Manchester and City of London Centres to promote inclusive research activities. Hosted every two months, this new series aims to shine a spotlight on various equality, diversity, inclusivity topics in cancer research. Our sixth seminar focuses on health inequalities in the signing deaf community.

ABOUT THE TALK Previous research has indicated that the mental health and health related outcomes are poorer in Deaf signing populations compared to the general population. This presentation will cover the inequalities faced by Deaf people, including what existing research tell us about the population. Additionally, a current evaluation project involving Deaf people living with cancer will be discussed.
