Join us for the online public launch of the Just Earth Observation for Conservation research project.

Decisions about biodiversity conservation are increasingly being shaped by Earth Observation (EO) data. These data are gained from technologies such as satellites and drones. EO-data driven decision making is raising justice issues and risks for people living in areas managed for conservation.

This Just Earth Observation for Conservation project will transform understanding of the social risks and benefits of increased use of Earth Observation in conservation.

In this webinar, project leads Rose Pritchard and Tim Foster are joined by Kenya case study lead Klerkson Lugasa to discuss the current state of knowledge on how EO data are changing conservation.

There will be opportunities for questions at the end of the webinar.
