The University of Manchester School of Earth, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, in association with Manchester Museum, is offering the opportunity to take part in an MSc field trip around Hope Valley in the Peak District – using the new technology of Augmented Reality. Bring along your smartphone or a 3G-enabled tablet and you will be guided around the route with a fascinating commentary about the geology, natural history and fossil record of the area. Find out what’s beneath your feet and how the region has developed over the last 300 million years! Free return coach transport will be available from Manchester Museum.
