As we are welcoming new and returning students to Manchester for the new academic year, Manchester Confucius Institute is delighted to invite to a special preview screening of 'Return to Dust' at HOME cinema. It tells the story of two people cast off by their families and forced into an arranged marriage. In the face of much adversity, they have to combine their strength and build a home to survive. An unexpected bond begins to blossom between the pair, as both Ma and Cao, uniting with Earth’s cycles, create a haven for themselves in which they can thrive. A story about eternal love, against the odds.
This screening will be introduced by the Chinese Film Forum UK and students are invited to join us afterwards for a chat and free pizza in the Cafe Bar area on the ground floor.
