Call for Abstracts: Corrosion science symposium and advances in corrosion protection by organic coatings
This event joins together the UK Corrosion Science Symposium with the International Conference Series on “Advances in Corrosion Protection by Organic Coatings”. The event will be held in-person at Manchester, 6-9 September, with the option for remote participation. Current restrictions limit the number of in-person delegates however we anticipate that by September restrictions will be lifted sufficiently to permit full attendance.
The Corrosion Science Symposium is the annual research forum organised by the UK Institute of Corrosion (ICorr) and is in its 62nd year. It is an open and friendly event with speakers from a range of backgrounds but with an emphasis on the younger members of the corrosion community. The Institute’s premier award, the U.R. Evans will be presented to Professor Mary Ryan from Imperial College, London, followed by her award lecture. The winner of the Lionel Shrier Prize for the best speaker under the age of 30 will be announced at the end of the Symposium.
