This course is part of the Doctoral Training Programme, which aims to equip postgraduate research students within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine & Health with the skills and knowledge to enhance their doctoral programme.
The class will provide support to students through discussion of the research process, analysis of the content of a thesis and focused writing tasks. You will have the opportunity, if you want, of presenting sections of your work to the group for discussion and revision. Each session will have writing activities to do in class. This is an opportunity to be part of a group of dedicated researchers engaged in the exciting and demanding task of communicating effectively through writing. See the Resources tab for full details of each class.
The sessions will run every Wednesday 14:00 - 15:30 during term time at the Postgraduate Hub Training Room in Stopford. Maureen Finn from the University Language Centre will run each session.
For more information, on to book a place on one of the session, please see the University Language Centre website.
