Anatomy is the study of the structure of body systems and their components, how they work together and how this function goes wrong in disease. On the Discover Anatomical Sciences Day you will find out more about the Anatomical Sciences degree at Manchester, the types of career available to you as an Anatomical Sciences graduate and the cutting-edge research going on right now in our labs. You will meet current students and get the chance to do some hands-on anatomy, studying some of the body systems related to exercise, including: • Examining the structure of muscle visible to the naked eye as well as under the microscope • Learning how muscles work together with joints to allow a range of movement by dissecting a leg and building your own model joint
