A one-day meeting to celebrate the life and work of Dr Jeff Hughes (1965-2018) as a scholar, teacher, mentor and friend.
The meeting will include short talks on current research in several of the many areas to which Jeff contributed, and personal recollections from those who knew him at various stages in his career.
Speakers includes: Simon Schaffer, University of Cambridge; Dominique Pestre, Centre Koyre; Xavier Roqué Rodríguez, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; Mats Friedlund, Aalto University; Sally Horrocks, University of Leicester; Néstor Herran, Sorbonne Université; Ludmilla Jordanova, Durham University; Jon Agar, UCL.
